Me and the whole surfing world is deeply saddened by the loss of this great human being. He brought us all more then paisson for something that means nothing and everything at the same time. The public figure Andy Irons, was not just 3 times world champion. He was athlete, passionate competitor and hero, but also personal, sensitive and vulnerable. His surfing was my basing point when I grew up in surfing. A.I. was my gold standard then. We all will miss him. But this is nothing compared to the tragedy as brother, father, husband, son and friend.
