I like this bad, this is nothing new, but here's why: they have way more music and songwriting skills then most better known bands around, but their style remains raw, just watch the videos below and you may get glimpse of what I'm talking about.
And as a bonus the no waves video as well
Chief is a young band from CA. They make mellow summery music, which I like right know. But this wasn't enough for me to post it. But after reading this one sentence about the history of the video it was:"Found undeveloped 16mm FILM in my grandparents garage. developed it. What emerged was an intimate look inside my family history from the Rockwellian 50's to the turbulence of the Vietnam War. People just trying to find their direction along with the entire country. hope you enjoy!" Quite up to date for me! Now go and listen to the rest of their songs.
Hope you had a blast on NYE, as we did in Duesseldorf with captain flingern @ ackereleven.
Here is a band I've been listing a lot, Boycotts. I've you hadn't enjoyed them on our France trip latley, fan them on facebitch, hypem, myspace, no matter what! They are good and they desereve much more people who are listing to them! Here is an Interview + 2 Songs
