You must have lived under a rock, if you haven't stumbled on Volcom's Proving Grounds, but now with the upcoming Pipline Contest there is nowhere to hide anymore. They are droping clips like a 10 year old fatty with a youtube channel, who just got a camera!

ASP Worldchampion 2009
Wot? Yes , I'm going out on a limb: Mick Fanning is going to be the 2009 ASP Worldcchamp.
Why? He did it before, knows what it takes, has a run and looks more confident with what he's doing.
And please stop moaning about everyone is doing a blog or something! Wouldn't you promote yourself in any possible way while the conditions in professional surfing are what they are? You must be a total jerk not using these ways to get in touch with fans, get a good reputation and manage your Image as you like it.
